Hypno Redesign and MCC Squared Painting

Posted by Muskegon Design

HYPNOCOFEE REDESIGN

In web design, the moral of the story is always keeping things fresh. This string of coffee houses and roasteries in both Davis, WV and Shepardstown, WV are unique with the organic elements I've used to create their sites. Real wood trim, chalk tables and postcards from the site decorate the website that captures who they really are. The on site photography I used added that element that allows this business to reflect their real personality in their website. Awesome!

What are some of the cool features of this website?

-Dynamic blog content

-Animated front page (slideshow)

-Extra cool features like Social Networking links
and personalized Pandora radio station!

Rich colors, fancy scrolls and layered depth was the idea behind the most Muskegon Design project for Wild Muse Photography in Muskegon!

This is a blog site with much functionality; from user controlled photo galleries to seperate blog

pages for author control over rate changes, portfolio changes, and more!

Because it is a blog site, the website owner now has all the creative control to keep content fresh and updated. That is perfect for the busy photographer who always has new work to show. Have a blast with your new site, Annette!

Women of Diakoneo

I created this blogsite with resources for a group of women volunteers and event organizers in the Tri-Cities area.

The group's leader was looking for a feeling that embodied international textiles, turquoises, golds and browns. I created this tiled background from an actual sample of indian fabric and tied in all of the desired colors into a website that also serves as a blog! With lots of charitable events to plan, the ladies needed a place to communicate, so I also made a phpbb3 discussion board and customized the settings for them, along with an event calendar. Features will continue to grow as they are needed, and now their website can keep up with all of the future events and discussions they will have!

I love colors and the feeling of this site. It is fast loading and functional--it turned out great!

First and Foremost, and Bandages for Rosie!

Posted by Muskegon Design

I wanted to share two of my most recent projects!

The first was a redesign on a music blog. We went from an all black theme that lacked in personality and eyecandy to something fresh with a bit of modern/retro...vintage Halloween cats and wood paneling! I really like the look of the finished project. We also added media and a more custom logo. Neat look and a great blog, too!

The second is a special website I built to honor a special young friend of mine who passed away this year due to brain and spinal cancer. She was only four years old. Her family has started a grassroots fundraising effort in her honor to collect character bandaids for local hospitals, to make the repeated "pokings" that are a reality for many sick children a more enjoyable process.

SuperMomsOnline.org

Posted by Muskegon Design

Super Moms Online is a parenting forum that I created and administrate. The site is quite extensive and includes a mainpage, resources, blogs, many external links and resources, and a php forum with almost 300 members from all over the world.

Each year at the anniverary of its creation, I give the site a makeover. This year, I decided to go with a very feminine yet clean design--in pinks, browns and creams.
I also created a matching phpbb3 template for the forum software, to match the mainpage.

I've included two screenshots portraying the attractive new changes!

Joyful Noise Childcare

Posted by Muskegon Design

So many of my clients are small business owners or proffesionals looking to improve their resumes or personal websites, so I wanted to post an example of a more involved website in my portfolio.

Joyful Noise is an awesome Christian childcare program in Grand Haven, Michigan, offering care from infants to school age children. They have a wonderful program and offer many resources on their website, which I have created, run and maintenanced for the last four years. The newest version of the website is bright, sunny, and offers much for parents and new people stopping by. It is a great tool for any parent who is a part of their program and I'm happy to help offer these services online!

Thank you for your business, Joyful Noise!

Remember When Photography

This project was a re-design on a website for a photographer named Stacy Yeiter, and her business "Remember When Photography". I did Stacy's website for her last year and she decided she was ready for a change! Like many other small business owners, Stacy had been hearing alot about the "blog site" and wanted to try it out.

Stacy was attracted to blues, blacks and sort of a modern feel. So I created this site that was fairly simple, with clean navigation, on a black and white damask background for an elegent yet modern feel. The logo I created was also part of the decorative touch that Stacy was looking for. Attracted to scrolls, quilt like adornments and block-stamp patterns, this logo seemed to fit directly with the idea she was going for.

Thanks for your business, Stacy! Glad we hit the mark on your new site.
